بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الحمدلله رب العالمين والصلوة والسلام على اشرف الانبياء وسيدالمرسلين نبينا محمد صل ا لله عليه وعلى آله واصحابه وازواجه اجمعين - امابعد

All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Sustainer of the Universe, and blessing and salutation to be the most distinguish of the Messengers and foremost among the Prophets, our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be on him and on his wives, children and Companions.

This author wrote couple of articles after 9/11 and long before sovereign nations (of Afghanistan and) Iraq sustained nuclear attacks by the mighty USA with her latest DU arsenal and latest sophisticated weaponry ever used in the history followed by Iraq’s occupation, not to mention Afghanistan’s as well. The articles were Ignorance is the root cause of Extremism and Responsibility of Muslims Living in USA. “Rense.com” that has over eight million visitors a month also published the latter article

Having said that let me quote one Fatwa:

Regarding suicide bombings
*Please appropriately reference this fatwa to: www.fatwa-online.com, thank you!*
Question: Are suicide operations (bombings) permissible? And are there (any) conditions for the acceptability of these actions?

Response: Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) says:

{And do not kill yourselves. Surely, Allaah is Most Merciful to you. And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, We shall cast him into the Fire, and that is easy for Allaah}, [Soorah an-Nisaa, Aayaat 29-30]

So, it is not permissible for a person to kill himself, rather, he must protect himself in the full meaning of the word. And this does not prevent him from killing in the Path of Allaah and making jihaad in the Path of Allaah, and if he is open to being killed and martyred (therein) then that is good.

However, if he opens himself to being killed (in other than the Path of Allaah) then this is not permissible.

In the time of the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam), one of the brave (fighters) was fighting alongside the Messenger (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) and then he was killed. So the (other) companions said:

((None of us fought as courageously as so-and-so))

So, the Messenger (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) said:

((He is in the Fire (of Hell)))

...and that was after he was injured and before he died. And this (matter) was difficult for the companions (to grasp). So one of the men followed the injured man and saw him place a sword on the ground – raising its blade and then impaled himself upon the blade, entering his chest and dying (as a result).

So this man (returned) and said:

((The Messenger (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) has spoken the truth))

... and they knew the Messenger never spoke from his whims and desires.

(So) why did he enter the Fire having done this action? Because he killed himself and was not patient (at what had befallen him); so it is not permissible for a man to kill himself.

Again, it must be clearly understood that living in any non-Muslim country and/or visiting that country as tourist, for study, or for business, or simply being a citizen constitutes an agreement executed at the time of visa was granted to an individual and/or residency and/or citizenship was granted, in which the applicant of visa and/or residency and/or citizenship has promised that he or she will abide by the laws of host country and/or newly adopted country, and no illegal actions will be carried out by the visitor, tourist, merchant, student or citizen, etc. especially the actions that may harm life or property or both. This is because according to Shariah, Muslims living or visiting North America and/or Europe etc. have taken an oath; for example pledge of allegiance in America, that is taken in the citizenship ceremony by everyone who becomes a US Citizen. Acting otherwise constitutes treason against that country and treachery against Islaam.

Allaah (SWT) says in Glorious Qur’aan (2:177)!

"and who fulfill their covenant when they make it,

We further read in Qur’aan 5:1!

O you who believe! Fulfill (your) obligations"

And in Qur’aan 17:34!

"And fulfill (every) covenant. Verily, the covenant, will be questioned about"

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has said: "Promise is debt."

In the light of aforesaid facts, Muslims living in the West are obligated to keep their promises and/or agreements, which were made by them when a visa was granted to them for visit, study, business and/or residency or citizenship was granted to them by their newly founded homeland/s. Muslims should freely advocate and/or lobby peacefully for their causes and concerns in their new homeland/s. The best way is writing to your lawmakers, or calling them or visiting their offices to express Muslims' concerns is the best idea beside other peaceful actions like running for Public Offices and being an active Da’wah workers if meets the qualifications and requirements of Da’wah. Readers must know that Muslims are doing and have done more than their share to neutralize and condemn all unIslaamic acts. One example from a single major website is as follows:

Suicide Bombings

WTC New York 9/11

Hijacking/Kidnapping

Let me be the first to say that Muslims’ apparent ignorance of our Deen is obvious and what is needed today is learning and mastering the Deen as we are commanded in Ayaah 9:122 of the Qur’aan. Today’s our dire need is Jihad-bil-Kitab, to eradicate the ignorance of Islaam from our Ummah. Remember, ignorance is weakness and self-inflicted ignorance is suicide. Glorious Qur’aan is very explicit in the following Ayaat:

Surah An-Nur 55

Allâh has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islâm). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

In the above Ayah (verse) Allaah (SWT) has promised FOUR things:

·        Make them leaders.

·        Establish for them their Deen, which Allaah has approved for them.

·        Give then safety and peace after fear.

·        They will worship only Allaah, alone.

In conclusion, any act of violence against properties and/or civilians using far-fetched self-interpretations without being qualified to interpret the Deen and/or Qur’aan is not an idea for success; it is rather a formula for failure.
