All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Sustainer of the Universe, and blessing and salutation to be the most distinguish of the Messengers and foremost among the Prophets, our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be on him and on his wives, children and Companions.
In our Part-I about who are the People of the Book mentioned in the Glorious Qur’aan we discussed the Jews proving conclusively that today’s Jews are not the among the People of the Book mentioned in the Qur’aan. In this treatise we will inSha Allaah discuss if “Christians” are among the People of the Book, mentioned in the Glorious Qur’aan?
Misguided and ignorant Muslims
have heavily contributed to this myth that Christians are “People of the
Book.” This disinformation can be witnessed at most Muslims’ websites and
Muslims Discussion Forums, which are harboring colonies of ignorant Muslims
infesting these websites and forums with absolute non-sense and disinformation.
Glorious Qur’an is very clear and explicit while addressing the certain group of “People” by using the phrase يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ (O’ People of the Book/Scripture). Readers must notice the absolute use of “singular” for Book. Had it been two distinct and different groups of People, Glorious Qur’aan would have used the word (plural) كُتُبٌ instead of كِتَاب (singular). This is the first evidence and/or telltale sign that Qur’aan gives no status to Christianity. This also proves that Isa Ibn Maryam عليه السلام did not bring any different message except a supplement to Taurāt توريت and his message was also for the Children of Israel, like all other Prophets came after Musa عليه السلام with their supplemental books to Taurāt توريت. This also means that the followers and/or helpers of Isa Ibn Maryam عليه السلام must be either (1) Children of Israel (2) Those who were Judaised before the arrival of Isa Ibn Maryam عليه السلام. They simply cannot be Gentiles, because the message of Isa Ibn Maryam عليه السلام was not for Gentiles, thus, the Gentiles Christians are Pagans and not “People of the Book. We find the further evidence supporting this fact in the Qur’aanic Ayaah 61:6,
And (remember) when Iesa, son of Maryam, said: "O Children of
Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you confirming the Taurāt (which came)
before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name
shall be Ahmed. But when he [Ahmed (other name of Prophet of Islaam)
i.e. Muhammad صلی الله عليه وسلم] came to them with clear proofs, they said:
"This is plain magic."
We further read in the Qur’aan
in Ayaah 61:14,
O you who believe! Be you helpers (in the Cause) of Allah as said Iesa,
son of Maryam, to AlHawareeoon (the adherents' of Isa Ibn Maryam):
"Who are my helpers (in the Cause) of Allah?" AlHawareeeen (the
adherents' of Isa Ibn Maryam) said: "We are Allah’s helpers"
(i.e. we will strive in His Cause!). Then a group of the Children of Israel
believed and a group disbelieved. So We gave power to those who believed
against their enemies, and they became the uppermost.
We even find the evidence that harmonize with Qur’aanic
message, in the Christian Bible that is as follows:
10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them,
saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the
Samaritans enter ye not:
10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
The above facts from the Qur’aan and New Testament conclusively prove the plain ignorance and blather of all those Muslims and Christians who parrot the mantra of “Christians are the People of the Book.”
We also read in the
New Testament:
12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Also see
Mark 3:14 and Luke 10:1.
Now compare it with the
Glorious Qur’aan Ayaah 19:36,
وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
(Iesa said): "And verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So
worship Him (Alone). That is the Straight Path. (Allah's Religion of Islamic
Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets)." (Tafsir
At-Tabaree)

The European barbarian pagans who
were gentiles embraced heretic Christianity in the 7th and 8th
century that is based on the Pauline cult. In fact, Islaam was in Europe before
Christianity. Thus, Christians cannot be the “People of the Book” for
many reasons, such as:
Christian missionaries fabricated
this myth that Christians are “People of the Book” during the colonization era
(around 17th/18th century). The Muslims who parrot this mantra are Christianized
Muslims, who have no clue that this myth never existed until 18th
century.
