Who are the ‘People of the Book’ in the Glorious Qur’aan?

PART I (Jews)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الحمدلله رب العالمين والصلوة والسلام على اشرف الانبياء وسيدالمرسلين نبينا محمد صل ا لله عليه وعلى آله واصحابه وازواجه اجمعين - امابعد

All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Sustainer of the Universe, and blessing and salutation to be the most distinguish of the Messengers and foremost among the Prophets, our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be on him and on his wives, children and Companions.

I have been thinking to write on this subject for quite a while, but this topic remained at the bottom of my priority list, until now. Having said that, in order for us to explore that ‘who are the “People of the Book” mentioned in the Qur’aan, I think we must begin our exploration from Old Testament. We read in Ezra 6: 7,

KJV: Ezra 6:7

Jewish Publication Society 1917 OT

6:7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place.

6:7 let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in its place.

Let us now compare the above quote with Ezra 1:5

KJV: Ezra 1:5

Jewish Publication Society 1917 OT

1:5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

1:5 Then rose up the heads of fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, even all whose spirit God had stirred to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

Here, readers must notice two points: (1) We have only English translation of the Bible available to us, which prevents us from examining the accuracy of the translation in the absence of the original that does not exist anymore. (2) This Biblical gobbledygook has identified the same tribes as Jews, who were the split of the tribes of Israel, which was loyal to the southern kingdom (called Judah). That espouses the doubt of latter insertion and/or redaction that is obvious due to contradiction between Ezra 1:5 & 6:7.

We notice further absurdities in the Bible, while reading Esther 8:17

KJV: Esther 8:17

Jewish Publication Society 1917 OT

8:17 And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.

8:17 And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had gladness and joy, a feast and a good day. And many from among the peoples of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews was fallen upon them.

According to the Esther 8:17, if only part of the Israelites and/or tribes of Israel were Jews, then the Jews are not the Israelites. However, to examine the fact we have discussed above, we are presented with a myth that, the word Jew comes from Judah, therefore the Jews are descendants of Judah. For ignorant, and especially ignorant Muslims this misrepresentation to truth is a blessing and a shining light at the end of their tunnel of darkness. Because the irony and/or absurdity of the blatant lie are that, Judah himself was a natural born Syrian of a Syrian mother. Thus, by citizenship and/or nationality Judah was a Syrian. And by nationality, his father was a natural born Canaanite.

Also Levi was not the descendant of Judah, rather he was the brother of Judah, therefore, if a Jew is a descendant of Judah then none of the priest of Israel was a Jew, who have been Levi.  So if Jews are descendants of Judah, then 11 of the 12 tribes of Israel were not Jews.

Benjamin was not the descendant of Judah, but he was his half brother. Therefore, The Benjaminites were the tribe who were the descendants of Benjamin. This proves that Benjaminites cannot be descendants of Judah and yet we find that the descendants of Benjamin are also Jews, ironically. Let us revisit the Esther 8:17,

According to Esther 8:17 those who became Jews were Babylonians and not the Israelites. These facts are enough to impeach those who commit perjury of claiming that Jews are descendants of Judah and/or descendants of Israelites.

However, we find the perfect harmony and correct information in the Glorious Qur’aan, which has used three distinct words to describe those converts who accepted the Shariah and/or message of Musa عليه السلام and it is those people who are mentioned in the Esther 8:17 above. We can conclude this fact based on this truth that Glorious Qur’aan has abrogated the Bible, and Israelites are not simply made themselves Jews in Esther 8:17, as the Glorious Qur’aan corrects the redacted Bible.

The three distinct words used in the Glorious Qur’aan are as follows:

(1)   هادوا  [See Qur’aan 2:62; 4:46; 4:160; 5:41; 5:44; 5:69; 6:146; 16:118; 22:17 & 62:6]

(2)   هودًا   [See Qur’aan 2:111; 2:135& 2:140]

(3)   يهود  [See Qur’aan 2:113; 2:120; 3:67; 5:18; 5:51; 5:64; 5:82 & 9:30]

Further one must know that the correct rendering of {ALLADHENA HAADO WA هَادُوا} used in verse 2:62 in Arabic (the original language of Qur’aan)]

can only be ‘those who are Judaised {to be exact: guided and/or repented} or those who have become Jews.’ ‘It is for the first time that the Qur’aan speaks of the “Jews” as distinct from the {children of Israel}.’ The two terms, though frequently used as synonymous, are not exactly co-extensive or interchangeable.  Israelites are a race, a nation, a people, a huge family, and the sons of a particular progenitor, conscious and proud of their high lineage. Jews are a religious community. A church, believers in particular tenets, members of a certain faith. The Glorious Qur’aan regard of the niceties of expression, has always observed this distinction. When speaking of the beliefs and practices of the Hebrews and those who had adopted their faith, it uses the term “Jews” when alluding to their history and their national traits it keeps mentioning  ‘the children of Israel.’ The Israelites ceased to exist as a nation with destruction of the temple in A.D. 70. And thenceforth they became a purely a religious community. Many of the Arabs had, by the advent of Islaam, adopted the Jewish faith and usages. Hence the significance of the Qur’aanic expression ‘those who are Judaised.’ “The children of Israel, so frequently addressed in Qur’aan, says D. S. Margoliouth, ‘were merely Arab tribes made Israelites by conversion.’ {Torrey, Jewish Foundation of Islam, p-23). Most of the Arab Jews, like the Jews of Abyssinia, seem not to have been genuine children of Israel, but native converts of Judaism.’(HHW. VIII. P-10) “Judging by their proper nouns and Aramean vocabulary used in their agricultural life, these Jews must have been mostly Judaised clans of Arabian and Aramean stock though the nucleus may have been Israelites who fled from Palestine at the time of its conquest by the Romans, in the first century after Christ.’ (Hitti. Op.cit. p-104)

The word refers to those who repented and/or those who were guided to the right path [See Qur’aan 7:43; 29:69 & 90:10]. These words along with the other two distinct words have been translated as Jew/Jews, which is beyond me that how and under what translation rules this can happen? Readers must know that these three distinct words have been derived from the root-letters Ha-Da-Ya هَدَی and the root with thirty-eight (38) forms has been used in the Glorious Qur’aan as many as 316 times. And nowhere any of them even implicitly suggests and/or alludes and/or means “Jew or Jews”, strictly speaking linguistically.

Ha-Da-Ya هَدَی

Means, to guide, show with kindness the right path, lead to the right path, and to make one follow the right path till one reaches the goal. Let us compare it with Dictionary meanings of the words Jew & Hebrew:

Glorious Qur’aan

Jew (j) n. 1. An adherent of Judaism as a religion or culture. 2. A member of the widely dispersed people originally descended from the ancient Hebrews and sharing an ethnic heritage based on Judaism. 3. A native or inhabitant of the ancient kingdom of Judah. [Middle English Jeu, from Old French giu, from Latin I¿daeus, from Greek Ioudaios, from Aramaic yµhûd³y, from Hebrew yµhûdî, after yµhûdâ, Judah, son of Jacob and Leah.]

He·brew (h¶“br) n. Abbr. Heb., Hebr. 1. A member or descendant of a northern Semitic people, claiming descent from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; an Israelite; a Jew. 2.a. The Semitic language of the ancient Hebrews. b. Any of the various later forms of this language, especially the language of the Israelis. 3. Hebrews. (used with a sing. verb). Bible. [Middle English Ebreu, from Old French, from Latin Hebraeus, Hebraic, from Greek Hebraios, from Aramaic õibray, from Hebrew õibrî.] --Hebrew adj.

Up to the seventeenth century this word was spelled in Middle English in various ways: "Gyu," "Giu," "Gyw," "Iu," "luu," "Iuw," "Ieu," "Ieuu," "Ieuz," "Iwe," "Iow," "Iewe," "Ieue," "lue" ("Ive"), "Iew," "Jew." All these forms were derived from the Old French "Giu," which was earlier written "Juieu," derived from the Latin accusative "Judæum" with the elision of the letter "d." The Latin form "Judæus" was derived from the Greek 'Iουδαĩοσ; and this in turn from the Aramaic , corresponding to the Hebrew a gentilic adjective from the proper name "Judah," seemingly never applied to members of the tribe, however, but to members of the nationality inhabiting the south of Palestine (Jer. xliii. 9). It appears to have been afterward extended to apply to Israelites (II Kings xvi. 3) in the north. The English word is met with in the plural form as early as 1175, in the Lambert "Homilies"; in earlier English the form "Iudea," derived from the place-name "Iudea," is found in the Anglo-Saxon Gospels (John xviii. 35) of about the year 1000. Ormin, about 1200, uses the form "Judeow," derived from Old High German "Judeo," from which the modern German "Jude" is also derived.

In the Old Testament the term "Jew" appears to be applied to adherents of the worship of Yhwh as conducted at Jerusalem after the Exile: it is thus used in the late Book of Esther. In more modern usage the word is often applied to any person of the Hebrew race, apart from his religious creed. At one time during the emancipation era there was a tendency among Jews to avoid the application of the term to themselves; and from 1860 onward the words "Hebrew" and "Israelite" were employed to represent persons of Jewish faith and race, as in the titles "Alliance Israélite Universelle" and "United Hebrew Charities." At the present time the name "Jew" is being more commonly employed.

8:17 And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.

So far the facts presented from the Bible (OT), Glorious Qur’aan and other sources conclusively establish the obvious inconsisties, redaction, insertion and fabrication in the Biblical accounts. Contrary to that Glorious Qur’aan has as usual corrected the adulteration in the Bible. However, the sad part is that pseudo-Muslims and ignorant Muslims use Biblical accounts in conjunction of the English translation/s of the Glorious Qur’aan (the word of man) as the literal word of Allaah. Their apparent ignorant of Islaam and especially Glorious Qur’aan has resulted in solely relying on English translations of the Qur’aan, which has caused their minds to be lulled, thinking that Qur’aan is in English and/or it was revealed in English. Therefore, this kind of Muslims are no different than misguided Christians who depends on different versions of Bibles. But the Jews and Christians don’t have the original scripture, Muslims do, thus, Muslims have no excuse to be ignorant and/or misguided.

Points to be noted:

  1. Ibraheem عليه السلام was not a Jew or Christian or Hebrew, he was rather a Muslim according to Qur’aan 3:67.
  2. Bible is about the accounts of Arabs and all Biblical Prophets were Arabs, not blue eyes and blonde hair Jews or Christians. The Palestine Mandate was born out of the ambitions of the British and their promises to the French, the Arabs and the Zionists, as set forth in the Balfour declaration, the Sykes Picot Agreement and the McMahon Correspondence. The underlying causes were deeper than politics, it was also to make sure those Biblical accounts, and names and locations are eradicated and/or made alien to future generations. This is the reason that almost all the people do not understand Biblical maps and names.
  3. The Children of Israel mentioned in the Glorious Qur’aan and/or Israelites were the Children of Prophet Yaqoob عليه السلام and there was no Israelite before until he had his son born. And all the Israelites and/or Bani-Israel (Children of Israel) were Arabs who came from about twenty-seven Arabs tribes, not blue eyed and blonde hair Jews and Christians. They are not even close to Israelites and/or those converts mentioned in the Qur’aan.
  4. Midian, which is frequently mentioned in the Bible is in today’ Saudi Arabia. The wife of Musa عليه السلام was the daughter of Shu’aib عليه السلام, a Midianite.
  5. Children of Israel and/or Israelites ceased to exist as mentioned above, and read Judeo-Christian Trojan horse Unveiled!
  6. The myth that to be a Jew, you must have at Jewish mother, really? Show us where we can find this injunction in the Bible?
  7. If the requirement is, to be a Jew one’s mother must be Jewish, then who was the first Jew? If the wife of Abraham (Sarah) was the first Jew, how did she get to be a Jew if her mother was not a Jew?
  8. Bible tells us that Judah Came out of 2 Canaanites. If one must have a mother to be a Jew, then none of the tribes of the Israelites were Jews!
  9. All Israelite women married by the Arabs in the swap of sons and daughters in marriage, than well all of those women would have been "Jewish" mothers.... and all of their daughters who grew up in their Arab tribes and nations would have been "Jewish" mothers. Then today MILLIONS of Arabs would have been Jews, by the mother-to-be-a-Jew “rule” from these "Jews".
  10. All the wives of the 12 princes of Israel were not Jews; they were all non Israelite Arabs. Just look in the Bible and notice that the entire well identified wives (Queens) of the Kings of Judah and Kings of Israel were all non-Israelite Arabs.
  11. Another twist that Jews are those with a Jewish father will also not fly, because in that case the question, which begs for answer is what who was the first Jew?
  12. If the descendants of Abraham are Jews, then Abraham had a son (Ishmael) by his 2nd wife Hagar {an Egyptian} (Gen 16:3), a son by his Iraqi half sister Sarah (Isaac), he was married to the 3rd wife Keturah (Gen 25:1) and had she bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, Shuah, Jokshan Sheba, and Dedan. And we know that Abraham was not a Jew from any account of the Bible (also see Qur’aan 3:67).
  13. The claim that descendants of Judah are Jews is nothing but “hogwash.” Because Judah himself was a natural born Syrian of a Syrian mother. By nationality Judah was a Syrian. By nationality, his father was a natural born Canaanite. As for all those who would become people in the tribe of Judah, their grandmothers were Canaanites.
  14. The origins of these so-called Jews claiming to be the alleged descendants of Judah and/or descendants of Israelites is that in the mid Eighth Century (centuries after the revelation of Glorious Qur’aan), the Khazars, straddling the territory between the Muslim growth from east and the Christian west (Christian west wanted to annihilate the Khazars) became overnight Jews by a royal edict. It was a political move to get Christians and Muslims off their back and/or to survive, since Christianity was spreading through sword with rule “become a Christian or die.” Thus, Khazars wanted to remain independent of the Christian Byzantine Empire and the Muslim Caliphate. Jewish author Arthur Koestler maintains that, and so Khazars purposely chose Judaism, a religion similar to each but also separate from them.  On pain of death, the king commanded his entire European nation to convert to Judaism and all that the religion then entailed.

In conclusion, these blue eyed and blonde hairs European “Jews” who have occupied the Palestine and have been committing Palestinians GENOCIDE since last 55 years are not those who are mentioned in the Glorious Qur’aan as those who repented and/or guided. They became Jew under compulsion. Also the names “Jew or Jews and/or Judaism” have no Divine Inspiration, therefore, they cannot be the People of the Book. People in general and Muslims especially must come out of darkness of ignorance and augment their studies of Glorious Qur’aan and also of the other scriptures, rather taking the word of men (Translations of Qur’aan) as the truly revealed Word of Allaah. The Glorious Qur’aan was first translated by the Christian missionaries (who don’t believe in it, and don’t follow it) from the Spanish translation around 17th century. Thereafter, until 1930 there was no translation in English available except by the Christians, Qadyanis and Jew/s. They literally and/or deliberately distorted the meanings. The correct and accurate translation of Qur’aan in English was not available by a Muslim until 1941. The 1934 translation of Qur’aan by Abdullah Yusuf Ali has its perversion.
