Old Testament Prophecies

Psalms 20: 1-5 (Prophecy # 9)!
020:001 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name
of the God of Jacob defend thee; 020:002 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and
strengthen thee out of Zion; 020:003 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy
burnt sacrifice; Selah. 020:004 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and
fulfill all thy counsel. 020:005 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the
name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfill all thy petitions.
This has to be read and
understood with 1 Samuel chapter 25, the very first verse tells
us that (“025:001 And Samuel died;
and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him
in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of
Paran.”) King David lived in Paran where he wrote his Psalms performed the
Hajj as we read that in chapter 84:4-6 of Psalms, which is as follows:
“084:004 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will
be still praising thee. Selah. 084:005 Blessed is the man whose strength is in
thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. 084:006 Who passing through the
valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.”
Let us also
examine this prophecy in the light of Glorious Qur’aan 3:81 which reads:
And (remember) when Allâh took the Covenant of the Prophets,
saying: "Take whatever I gave you from the Book and Hikmah
(understanding of the Laws of Allâh), and afterwards there will come to
you a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله
عليه وسلم) confirming what is with you; you must, then, believe in him
and help him." Allâh said: "Do you agree (to it) and will you take up
My Covenant (which I conclude with you)?" They said: "We agree."
He said: "Then bear witness; and I am with you among the witnesses (for
this)."
And for once did Allaah enter into a covenant with the
prophets expressing the obligation to which they are bound: I have given you
the book, when said, and acquainted your hearts with wisdom to the effect that
there comes a Messenger with a Book which corroborates and authoritatively
validates the Authentic Books which you hold in possession, you shall
faithfully recognize him, uphold him and help him to accomplish his mission.
And now do you all subscribe to this allegiance and shall you pledge yourselves
before Me to keep the vow! They said: We pray the prayer and vow the vow. Then,
said Allah, you bear witness to this ` obligation which you shall relate to
your people, and here do I subscribe to be to this course of action.
King David’s (PBUH) settlement in Makkah, receiving
and writings his Psalms and performing Hajj are the testament of the covenant
of all prophets made with God and a message to Jews and Christians that they
are to follow Muhammad (SAW) as divine decree as mentioned in their scriptures.
