Psalms 72: 1-20 (Prophecy # 11)
072:001 Give the king thy judgments, O God,
and thy righteousness unto the king's son. 072:002 He shall judge thy people
with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. 072:003 The mountains shall
bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. 072:004 He
shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy,
and shall break in pieces the oppressor. 072:005 They shall fear thee as long
as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. 072:006 He shall come
down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. 072:007 In
his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the
moon endureth. 072:008 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from
the river unto the ends of the earth. 072:009 They that dwell in the wilderness
shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. 072:010 The kings of
Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba
shall offer gifts. 072:011 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all
nations shall serve him. 072:012 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth;
the poor also, and him that hath no helper. 072:013 He shall spare the poor and
needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. 072:014 He shall redeem their
soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
072:015 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba:
prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.
072:016 There shall be a handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the
mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city
shall flourish like grass of the earth. 072:017 His name shall endure forever:
his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in
him: all nations shall call him blessed. 072:018 Blessed be the LORD God, the
God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. 072:019 And
blessed be his glorious name forever: and let the whole earth be filled with
his glory; Amen, and Amen. 072:020 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are
ended.
A careful study of this prophecy tells us that Jesus (PBUH) didn’t
possess the requisites to entertain any consideration for him to be the
prophesied prophet. It is meant for the best of the creation i.e. Muhammad
(SAW) exclusively in the light of facts presented from Bible and Glorious
Qur’aan so far (Please see
other prophesies at the Home Page). It was Muhammad (SAW) to whom the empires mightier than king
Solomon and Zulqarnain was given in which justice with was dispensed with
equality so freely that the like of Islaam’s Empire of Faith has not known to
mankind. Muhammad’s Empire stretched from
sea to sea, tyrants’ trembles before him, oppressed were avenged and land was
purified from tyranny. The mightiest of the sovereigns bowed to him and sent
presents’ to his court. Muhammad (SAW) established piety, justice and peace
while waging war against all malefactors; Muhammad’s successors finished the
word that their Master has started. Further this prophecy must be read and understood in the light
of chapters 112 & 113 of Psalms cited below, since these two chapters
completes the word picture of the prophecy.
Psalms Chapters 112 & 113!
112:001 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the
man that feareth the LORD that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 112:002
His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be
blessed. 112:003 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness
endureth forever. 112:004 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness:
he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 112:005 A good man
sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. 112:006
Surely he shall not be moved forever: the righteous shall be in everlasting
remembrance. 112:007 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is
fixed, trusting in the LORD. 112:008 His heart is established, he shall not be
afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. 112:009 He hath dispersed, he
hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth forever; his horn shall be
exalted with honour. 112:010 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall
gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
113:001 Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. 113:002 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. 113:003 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised. 113:004 The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. 113:005 Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high, 113:006 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth! 113:007 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; 113:008 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. 113:009 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
