Judgment!

Thanks to be Allaah, Sustainer of the Universe, and
blessing and salutation to be the most distinguish of the Messengers
and foremost among the Prophets, our Prophet
Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be on him and on his wives,
children and Companions.
The ignorant
person is like the ‘pupil’ of the ‘eye’, the more you shine the light
on it, the more it
contracts. Some self appointed scholars are quick to
reject the idea on intercession, claiming that there is no Ayaah آيه in the Glorious Qur’aan about intercession. Then they proceed
to attack and reject Ahadeeth احاديث about intercession by claiming that
no one can and/or will intercede on the Day of Judgment. To support their
absurd claim their response is quoting Ayaah آيه 2:48, which I quote:
There will be NO intercession on the Day of Judgment whatsoever:
002.048
And be on your guard against a day when one soul shall not avail
another in the least, neither shall intercession on its behalf be accepted,
nor shall any compensation be taken from it, nor shall they be helped.
|
نَفْسٍ another (person) |
نَفْسٌ a person |
تَجْزِي shall avail |
لَا not |
يَوْمًا a Day (when) |
وَاتَّقُوا and fear |
|
وَلَا nor |
شَفَاعَةٌ intercession |
مِنْهَا from him |
يُقْبَلُ will be accepted |
وَلَا nor |
شَيْئًا anything |
|
يُنْصَرُون would be helped |
هُمْ they |
وَلَا and not |
عَدْلٌ compensation (ransom) |
مِنْهَا from him |
يُؤْخَذُ will be taken |
Then there are those who read such absurdity and take it as
authority without realizing that this only shows the sheer ignorance and
stupidity of author while proving that he/she is ignorant of very source ( i.e.
Glorious Qur’aan), he/she has used to mislead others. Let us scrutinize the
very Ayaah آيه (2:48), which is always quoted by
pseudo-Muslims especially Murtadd-e-Azam
Osama Abdallah and Murtadd Akbarally Meherally.
Surah Al-Baqarah 48
And fear a Day (of Judgment) when
a person shall not avail another, nor will intercession
be accepted from him nor will compensation be taken from him nor will they be
helped.
The authors of absurdities and disinformation always take Ayaat out
of context while also disregarding the correlation of previous and/or latter
Ayaat. But the most important thing that is not known by these Kuffar and/or
murtadds and/or pseudo-Muslims is the ‘reasons of revelation اسباب النزول’
Qur’aanic Ayaah or Ayaat or Asbaab al-Hadeeth اسباب الحديث about
the Ahadeeth.
A careful study of Glorious Qur’aan (Surah Al-Baqarah Ayaah 48) would reveal that Ayaat (2:40-121) contains the detailed story of invitation to the guidance to the
Children of Israel بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ, Ayaat 2:47
and 2:49 conclusively proves that Glorious Qur’aan 2:48 is explicitly directed
to Children of Israel بَنِي
Since the theme and the message is not the subject of this treatise except
refuting the absurd claim that there would be no intercession. Therefore we will inSha Allaah focus on
that while exposing the ignorance of claimants’.
A careful study of Ayaat 2:47-48 tells us that as for no one being
suffice another on the Day of Judgment, this phrase should be understood in the
sense of one man is paying the dues on behalf of another man. Glorious Qur’aan makes it clear in certain
other Ayaat that Allaah will allow intercession to be made on behalf of some
people (See Ayaat
2:255; 20:109; 21:28; 34:23 & 53:26 etc.) and will disallow it in the case of
those who do not possess IMAN ايمان
(See 3:91; 5:36;
20:109 & 21:28 etc.)
As for intercession (Shafa’ah
not being accepted (in Ayaah 2:48), the phrase does not totally deny the
possibility of intercession on the Day of Judgment; it only means that if a man does not
have IMAN ايمان (faith),
no intercession in his favor shall be accepted. Since there would be no intercession on behalf of those without IMAN ايمان, the question of it being accepted does
not simply arise. On the basis of Ayaah 2:48, those who deny the possibility of
all intercession (for Muslims) are plain ignorant, wrong and misguided. Muslims
are guaranteed salvation and intercession in Glorious Qur’aan and Ahadeeth
احاديث and believing
otherwise is plain KUFR كفر. But as I have shown above, the negation of intercession applies only
to disbelievers and/or infidels. In Bayan al-Qur’an بيان
القران we find a detailed
explanation beside in many other
authentic تفاسير.
The
reason of revelation of Ayaah 2:48 was the claim of Children
of Israel بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ who
said that whatever, sin they might commit; they would not be punished because
their forefathers who were prophets would get them pardoned. So the Allaah said in Ayaah
2:48 that this idea of Jews, is absolutely wrong.
Nonetheless, as I have stated that this rule, however, does not rule out
the advantage of intercession which is believed by Muslims (Ahle-Sunnah Wal-Jammah) and which is described
in many Ayaat of Glorious Qur’aan and in the Ahadeeth احاديث. That is why the followers of the Prophet
Muhammad
عليه وسلم were/are given the honor of كُنْتُمْ
خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ (the best of peoples) as we read
in the Glorious Qur’aan,
Surah Al-i-'Imran 110
You (true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of
Prophet Muhammad
and his Sunnah ) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma‘rűf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has
ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief
and all that Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh {1}
. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)
believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have
faith, but most of them are Al-Fâsiqűn (disobedient to
Allâh - and rebellious against Allâh’s Command).
{1} (V.3:110) a) Narrated Abu Hurairahرضي الله عنه The Verse: "You (true believers in
Islâmic Monotheism and real followers of Prophet Muhammad
وسلم)and
his Sunnah), are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind" means, the
best of the people for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks
till they embrace Islâm (and thereby save them from the eternal punishment in
the Hell-fire and make them enter Paradise in the Hereafter). ( Sahih Al-Bukhâri , Vol.6, Hadîth No.80). b) CHAPTER 144. The
prisoners of war in chains.
عليه وسلم)said, "Allâh wonders at those people who will enter
Paradise in chains." ( Sahih Al-Bukhâri , Vol.4, Hadîth No. 254).* * The people
referred to here may be the prisoners of war who were captured and chained by
the Muslims and their imprisonment was the cause of their conversion to Islâm.
So, it is as if their chains were the means of winning Paradise.
In conclusion, readers can read the Ayaat 2:255; 20:109; 21:28; 34:23 & 53:26, which explicitly proves that
the intercession will be accepted from those whom Allaah permits, and
only on behalf of those whom Allaah permits. No intercession will be
permitted on behalf of Kuffar, for that please read Ayaat 3:91 and 5:36 in particular and many others as
well.
