All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Sustainer of the Universe, and blessing and salutation to be the most distinguish of the Messengers and foremost among the Prophets, our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be on him and on his wives, children and Companions.

In this treatise we will inSha Allaah discuss the fulfillment of the prophesy of the Glorious Qur’aan and one of the prophecy of the Old Testament. Also read: The Divine Caliphate.

Let us examine the Prophesy of the Glorious Qur’aan!

Surah Al-Hajj 40-41

Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly only because they said: "Our Lord is Allâh." For had it not been that Allâh checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of Allâh is mentioned much would surely have been pulled down. Verily, Allâh will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allâh is All-Strong, All-Mighty. {41} Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land, (they) enjoin Iqamat-as-Salât {1} (i.e. to perform the five compulsory congregational Salât (prayers) (the males in mosques)), to pay the Zakât and they enjoin Al-Ma‘rűf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do), and forbid Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism and all that Islâm has forbidden) (i.e. they make the Qur’ân as the law of their country in all the spheres of life). And with Allâh rests the end of (all) matters (of creatures).

{1} (V.22: 41): A) Iqâmat-as-Salât: Performing of Salât (prayers) It means that: a) Every Muslim, male or female, is obliged to offer his Salât (prayers) regularly five times a day at the specified times; the male in the mosque in congregation and the female at home. As the Prophetصلى الله عليه وسلم has said: Order your children to perform Salât (prayer) at the age of seven and beat them (about it) at the age of ten. The chief (of a family, town, tribe, etc.) and the Muslim rulers of a country are held responsible before Allâh in case of non-fulfillment of this obligation by the Muslims under their authority. b) One must offer the Salât (prayers) as the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم used to offer them with all their rules and regulations. i.e., standing, bowing, prostrating, sitting, etc. As he صلى الله عليه وسلم has said: "Offer your Salât (prayers) the way you see me offering them (Hadîth No.352, Vol. 9, Sahih Al-Bukhârî)." (For the characteristics of the Salât (prayer) of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم see Sahih Al-Bukhârî, Vol.1, Hadîth Nos. 702, 703,704, 723, 786 and 787]. B) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "No Salât (prayer) is heavier (harder) for the hypocrites than the Fajr and the Ishâ prayers, but if they knew the reward for these Salât (prayers) at their respective times, they would certainly present themselves (in the mosques) even if they had to crawl." The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم added, "Certainly, I intended (or was about) to order the Mu’adhdhin (call-maker) to pronounce Iqâmah and order a man to lead the Salât (prayer) and then take a fire flame to burn all those (men along with their houses) who had not yet left their houses for the Salât (prayer) (in the mosques)." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.1, Hadith No.626).

الَّذِينَ إِنْ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ (Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land,(22:41). In this Ayaah (verse) the word الَّذِينَ (those) refers to those people who have been mentioned in the preceding Ayaah (verse 22:40) الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ (Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly). Referring to such people the Ayaah (verse) says that if they are placed in authority in this world, they will use it to promote good deeds. They will set up prayers, pay the obligatory charity, enjoin people to do good and abstain from evil deeds. These Ayaat were revealed after Hijrah, and Muslims didn’t exercise dominion anywhere on earth. But in the above Ayaat Allaah (SWT) had already made it known that when, at a future date/time, they would come to power and will establish their government, Muslims would serve their Faith in the fashion described in the Ayaah. Hadhrat Uthmaan {RA} said, that this Ayaah praises those people before they actually perform the praise-worthy deeds. This prophecy was fulfilled when the Four Rightly Guided Caliphs (and the Muhajireen (emigrants) from Makkah were indeed those whom the Glorious Qur’aan described by the words الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا (those who were expelled 22:40)), established their government and held sway over vast territories. No race, religion and/or nation individually and/or collectively match this golden era of Islaamic civilization and glory.

Four conditions for success and victory!

Surah An-Nur 52

وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَخْشَ اللَّهَ وَيَتَّقْهِ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ

And whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), fears Allâh, and keeps his duty (to Him), such are the successful.

The Proof of Divine approval and esteem in the sight of Allaah (SWT) of the Four Rightly Guided Khulefa’a (Caliphs)!

Surah An-Nur 55 -57

Allâh has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islâm). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fâsiqűn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

Qurtubi has reported on the authority of Abul Aliyah that Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم stayed in Makkah for ten years after commencement of revelation and declaration of Prophethood, during that time there was a constant fear of infidels and disbelievers. Then after the Hijrah to Madinah there was also a ceaseless danger of attacks from the disbelievers. So, someone asked the Prophet  صلى الله عليه وسلم  “Would a time come to us when we will be able to live in peace without wearing our weaponry?” Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم replied, ‘Yes, the time is coming very soon.’ On that occasion Ayaat 24:55-57 were revealed. {Qurtubi and Bahr} Abdullah Ibn Abbas {RA} has said that these Ayaat (verses) relate the promise of Allaah (SWT), which He had made with the Ummah of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم before their creation in the Tawrat (Torah) and the Injeel. {Bahr Muhit}

Isaiah {KJV} The Biblical Prophecy!

21:13 The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.

21:14 The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled.

21:15 For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war. {Referring to the Prophet Muhammad’s Hijrah to Madinah with Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA)}

21:16 For thus hath the LORD said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail: {Reference to battle of Badr fought just after one year and Quraysh of Makkah were defeated}

21:17 And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel hath spoken it. {Reference to the mighty warrior of Quraysh who were killed in battle of Badr}

The above Ayaah (verse 24:55) is also a proof of the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and because of the forecast he had made came true exactly in the manner he had predicted. The same way it is also a proof of acceptance and approval of the Caliphate of Khulefa’a-e-Rashideen in the sight of Allaah (SWT). The promise made by Allaah (SWT) in Ayaat 22:40-41 with His Messenger and his Ummah was completely fulfilled during the lifetime of four rightly guided Sahabah (Caliphs).
