All the praises and
thanks be to Allaah, Sustainer of the Universe, and blessing and salutation to
be the most distinguish of the Messengers and foremost among the
Prophets, our Prophet Muhammad, peace and
blessings of Allaah be on him and on his wives, children and Companions.
In order to establish Jewish
claim over “Holy Land [Jerusalem/Palestine]” Judeo-Christian Spin-doctors always misquotes vague and
ambiguous verses lifting from the context [of the Bible]. This treatise will
examine the facts from the Bible and Glorious Qur’aan to set the record
straight and will inSha Allaah show without a shadow of a doubt that absurd and
false claims made about the Jewish right over Holy Land are NOTHING but the Biblical FORGERY!
Let us proceed with Glorious Qur’aan 5:21!
"O my people! Enter the holy land (Palestine) which Allâh has assigned to youą and turn not back˛ (in flight); for then you will be returned as losers.ł"
ą. i.e., the land of Canaan vaguely referred to in old
commentaries as Syria. ‘Behold’ I have set the land before you; go in possess
the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to
give unto them and to their seed after them.’ (Deut 1:8). ‘And Moses called
unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a
good courage; for thou must go with this people unto the land which the Lord
hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit
it.’ (Deut. 31:7)
˛. ‘Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be
afraid of them: for thy Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will
not fall thee, nor forsake thee’ (Deut 31:6)
ł. ‘Losers’ both in spiritual and temporal sense.
Spiritually, because of disobeying the command of the Prophet for the holy war;
temporally, because of being deprived of a land.
Fulfillment of the promise did come to pass as we read in Old
Testament, Joshua 21:43-45!
Further
confirmation that God fulfilled all the promises:
14 "Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You
know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the
LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled;
not one has failed. 15 But just as every good promise of the
LORD your God has come true, so the LORD will bring on you all the evil he has
threatened, until he has destroyed you from this good land he has given you. 16
If you violate the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you,
and go and serve other gods and bow down to them, the LORD's anger will burn
against you, and you will quickly perish from the good land he has given
you."
Prophet Musa (Moses) was
obliged by Allaah for such things as ruin of Fir’awn (Pharoah) and Nile. Allaah
gave Moses and Israelites dry passage to go across the sea. Manadew was
descended upon Israelites- they were guided by the whirlwinds in the morning
and the same was transformed into minaret of light during night. But Israelites
could not be led into the Promised Land during Moses’ lifetime.
In
order to have a better and clear understanding of this issue and to find the
truth we must again look into Glorious Qur’aan, since it is the only true and
unadulterated Book in existence.
And We decreed
for the Children of Israel in the Scripture, that indeed you
would do mischief on the earth twice and you will
become tyrants and extremely arrogant!
Elaboration/Reconciliation
with Biblical references!
· Decreed (by way of forewarning)
· Scripture (The Book may refer to any revelations given to the Israelite prophets. Probably here it refer to the prophecies of Jeremiah, John and Jesus (PBUT) but the reference may also be to Le. 26:15-39; and Deut. 28:15.
· Mischief (by your sinning against God)
· Twice (The allusion may be to the well-known destruction of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar in 586 B.C. when the Jews were carried off to Babylonia in captivity, and next by the Roman under Titus in 70 A.D.
·
Extremely arrogant (in rebellion, and will sin against God and man).
The Book of Jeremiah in the Bible is full of forbidding consequent on the
rebellious disposition of the Jews and their deeds of impiety.
So, when the promise came for
the first of the two, We sent against you slaves
of Ours given to terrible warfare. They entered the very
innermost parts of your homes. And it was a promise
(completely) fulfilled.
Elaboration/Reconciliation
with Biblical references!
· Two (Judgment to be executed)
· You (O Jew)
· Slaves of Ours (as God’s instrument in carrying out His wrath). In the Bible also the epithet ‘my servant’ is applied to Nebuchadnezzar. (See Jeremiah. 25:9)
· Terrible warfare (against enemy) ‘Nebuchadnezzar was merciless toward the conquered people.’ (Jewish Encyclopedia IX. P. 202). The Jewish king Zedekiah was seized while fleeing, his sons were slain before his eyes, and he himself was blinded,
· Your homes (capturing, pillaging and murdering) ‘And burned the house of the Lord, and the king’s house: and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great men, burned he with fire: and all the army of the Chaldeans that were with the captain of the guard, broke down all the walls of Jerusalem round about.’ (See Jeremiah. 52:13-14)
· Promise (given through the prophet Jeremiah) ‘And this whole land shall be desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.’ (See Jeremiah. 25:11)
· Fulfilled (fully, and in every detail) For the Biblical account of catastrophe see The Lamentations of Jeremiah. 2:1-5)
Then wrath
of the God was conditionally removed as we read in the following verses (6
& 7), compare/reconcile it with Bible Ez. 1:1-2; Ez. 1:9-11; and Ez. 2:64-65.
Then We gave you a return of victory
over them. And We helped you with wealth and children and made you more
numerous in manpower.
Compare and reconcile with Bible [NT] Mt. 23:38; 24:2; Mk. 13:2; Lk. 19:43-44; 21:6;
20:24.
(And We said): "If you
do good, you do good for your own selves, and if you do evil (you do it)
against yourselves." Then, when the second promise came to pass, (We
permitted your enemies) to
disgrace your faces and to enter the mosque (of Jerusalem) as they had entered
it before, and to destroy with utter destruction all that fell in their hands.
Further one must know that the
correct rendering of {ALLADHENA HAADO WA هَادُوا} used in verse 2:62 in Arabic (the
original language of Qur’aan)]
can only be ‘those who are Judaised or those who have become Jews.’ ‘It is for the first time that the Qur’aan speaks of the “Jews” as distinct from the {children of Israel}.’ The two terms, though frequently used as synonymous, are not exactly co-extensive or interchangeable. Israelites are a race, a nation, a people, a huge family, and the sons of a particular progenitor, conscious and proud of their high lineage. Jews are a religious community. A church, believers in particular tenets, members of a certain faith. The Glorious Qur’aan regard of the niceties of expression, has always observed this distinction. When speaking of the beliefs and practices of the Hebrews and those who had adopted their faith, it uses the term “Jews” when alluding to their history and their national traits it keeps mentioning ‘the children of Israel.’ The Israelites ceased to exist as a nation with destruction of the temple in A.D. 70. And thenceforth they became a purely a religious community. Many of the Arabs had, by the advent of Islaam, adopted the Jewish faith and usages. Hence the significance of the Qur’aanic expression ‘those who are Judaised.’ “The children of Israel, so frequently addressed in Qur’aan, says D. S. Margoliouth, ‘were merely Arab tribes made Israelites by conversion.’ {Torrey, Jewish Foundation of Islam, p-23). Most of the Arab Jews, like the Jews of Abyssinia, seem not to have been genuine children of Israel, but native converts of Judaism.’(HHW. VIII. P-10) “Judging by their proper nouns and Aramean vocabulary used in their agricultural life, these Jews must have been mostly Judaised clans of Arabian and Aramean stock though the nucleus may have been Israelites who fled from Palestine at the time of its conquest by the Romans, in the first century after Christ.’ (Hitti. Op.cit. p-104)
In
addition, many people regard the Palestinian
issue and the enmity between Muslims and the Jews as an interpretation of the verses
that are mentioned at the beginning of Surah "Al-Isra' " that read: "And
We decreed for the Children of Israel in the scripture: Ye verily will work
corruption in the earth twice, and ye will become great tyrants." (Al-Isra’:
4) Nevertheless, most of the exegetists' of the
Qur'aan agree that the scripture mentioned in this verse refers to the
Scripture that was revealed to Prophet Musa (Moses, peace be upon him), that
is, the Torah. Also, the verses following the
above say: "But if ye repeat (the crime) We shall repeat (the
punishment)". (Al-Isra’: 8) There is nothing in the verses that
specify the number of times that they may repeat the crime, and none can know
it.
(And We
said in the Taurât (Torah)): "It may be that your Lord may show mercy unto
you, but if you return (to sins), We shall return (to Our Punishment). And We
have made Hell a prison for the disbelievers.
Then we further
read in Glorious Qur’aan 17:104-106!
(104)
And We said to the Children of Israel after him: "Dwell in the land, then,
when the final and the last promise comes near (i.e. the Day of Resurrection or
the descent of Al-Masîh (‘Îsâ, son of Maryam عليهما
السلام on the earth), We shall bring you altogether as mixed crowd
(gathered out of various nations). (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi)
(105)
And with truth We have sent it down (i.e. the Qur’ân), and with truth it has
descended. And We have sent you (O Muhammad صلى
الله عليه و سلم) as nothing but a bearer of glad tidings
(of Paradise for those who follow your Message of Islâmic Monotheism), and a
Warner (of Hell-fire for those who refuse to follow your Message of Islâmic
Monotheism) {1} .
{1} (V.17: 105) a) See
the footnote of (V.3: 85). B) See the footnote of (V.4: 80).
Glorious Qur’aan 4:80!
He who
obeys the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله
عليه وسلم) has indeed obeyed Allâh, but he who turns away, then we have
not sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه
as a watcher over them. {1}
{1} (V.4: 80) (A) Narrated Abu Hurairah
said, "Whoever obeys me, he obeys Allâh, and whoever disobeys me, he
disobeys Allâh, and whoever obeys the ruler I appoint, he obeys me, and whoever
disobeys him, he disobeys me." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri,
Vol.9, Hadîth No.251). (B) Narrated Abu
Hurairah
Allâh’s
Messenger
said, "All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse."
They said, "O Allâh’s Messenger! Who will refuse?" He said,
"Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one
who refuses (to enter it)." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.9,
Hadîth No.384).
(17/106) And (it is) a Qur’ân,
which We have divided (into parts), in order that you might recite it to men at
intervals. And We have revealed it by stages (in 23 years).
Glorious Qur’aan 17:104!
And We said to the Children of
Israel after him: "Dwell in the land, then, when the final
and the last promise comes near [i.e. the Day of Resurrection or the descent of
Îsâ, son of Maryam on the earth]. We shall bring you altogether as mixed crowd
(gathered out of various nations). [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 10, Page 338]
Elaboration/Reconciliation
with Biblical references!
·
Him (i.e. after his
destruction)
·
Crowd (gathered out of
various nations) this clearly, though incidentally, foretells the
dispersal of the Jews.
Islaam says:
·
Dwell in
the land, means here dwell on earth (not Holy Land). That is why Jews were fugitives and/or
refugees for almost 2000 years after cursed by Îsâ عليه
السلام as we are told in the Bible and Qur’aan as well.
·
The last
promise referred [to], is the descent of Isa عليه السلام. The word “you” means all of you and your enemies.
Further,
you have to read the above verse with the co-relation of verses 105-106:
Glorious Qur’aan 17:105!
And with truth We
have sent it down (i.e. the Qur’aan), and with truth it has
descended. And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) as nothing but a
bearer of glad tidings (of Paradise, for those who follow your Message of
Islamic Monotheism), and a Warner (of Hell-fire for those who refuse to follow
your Message of Islamic Monotheism).
Glorious
17:106!
And
(it is) a Qur’aan, which We have divided (into parts), in order that you might
recite it to men at intervals. And We have revealed it by stages. (In 23
years).
Points to be
noted!
Conclusion!
For last two thousand years Christians have been waiting for 2nd coming of Jesus, and Jews have been waiting for Davidic messiah for over two millennia. Nevertheless, the Bible tells us something contrary to the Judeo-Christian fantasy. Let us read the Deuteronomy 28:63-68 (readers are recommended to read the entire chapter 28).
028:063 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced
over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you
to destroy you, and to bring you to naught; and ye shall be plucked
from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. 028:064 And the LORD
shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto
the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy
fathers have known, even wood and stone. 028:065 And among these nations
shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but
the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and
sorrow of mind: 028:066 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and
thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
028:067 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou
shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith
thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. 028:068
And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way
whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye
shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy
you.
Jewish claim over holy land is absurd and false, the
proof is provided in the Bible as cited above from Deut. 28:63-68,
which tells us about their mischief on earth that is followed by the punishment
conclusively mentioned in Deut. 28:68, Which has NOT
YET come to pass!!! By doing this I have not in actuality produced
anything new, but did only follow the example of the Qur'aanic methodology that
teaches us to go back to the scriptural sources in order to prove our case and
compel the falsifier:
