All the praises and thanks
be to Allaah, Sustainer of the Universe, and blessing and salutation to be the
most distinguish of the Messengers and foremost among the Prophets, our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of
Allaah be on him and on his wives, children and Companions.
The following is a brief and self-explanatory account derived from the Glorious Qur’aan, which demonstrates the obviously great difference between the Prophet of Islaam صلی الله عليه وسلم and Musa عليه السلام.

Glorious Qur’aan about Musa عليه
Glorious Qur’aan about Muhammad
|
Surah Ta-Ha 84
He said: "They are close
on my footsteps: and I hastened to You, O my Lord, that You might be
pleased." → |
Surah Adh-Dhuha 5
And verily, your
Lord will give you (all good) so that you shall be well-pleased.
What
a great difference there is between the two. |
|
Surah Al-Qasas 16
He said: "My Lord!
Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me." Then He forgave him.
Verily, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. → |
Surah Al-fat-h 1-2
(2) Verily, We have given you (O
Muhammad
عليه وسلم) a manifest victory. That Allâh may
forgive you your sins of the past and the future, and complete His Favour
on you, and guide you on the Straight Path, What a great difference there
is between the two. |
|
Surah Ta-Ha 25
(Műsâ) said: "O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness). → |
Surah Al-Sharh 1
Have We not
opened your breast for you (O Muhammad صلی
What a great difference there is between
the two. |
|
Surah Ta-Ha 26
"And ease
my task for me; → |
Surah Al-A'la 8
And We shall make easy for
you (O Muhammad وسلم صلى
الله عليه) the easy way (i.e. the doing of
righteous deeds).
What a great difference there is between
the two. |

Musa
عليه السلام spoke to his Lord on earth Surah Maryam 52 وَنَادَيْنَاهُ
And We called him from the
right side of the Mount, and made him draw near to Us for a talk with him
(Műsâ). Surah Al-Qasas 30
So when he reached it (the
fire), he was called from the right side of the valley, in the blessed place,
from the tree: "O Műsâ! Verily I am Allâh, the Lord of the ‘Âlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)! → |
But
the Guide, the Leader of the sons of Adam عليه السلام spoke to his
Lord in the Heaven. Surah Najm 5-11
(11) He has been taught (this
Qur’ân) by one mighty in power (Jibrîl (Gabriel)) One free from any defect in
body and mind then he (Jibrîl - Gabriel in his real shape as created by
Allah) rose and became stable. While he (Jibrîl (Gabriel)) was in the highest
part of the horizon, ( Tafsir Ibn Kathir ) Then he
(Jibrîl (Gabriel)) approached and came closer, And was at a distance of two
bows’ length or (even) nearer. So (Allâh) revealed to His slave (Muhammad صلى الله عليه
through Jibrîl (Gabriel) عليه
السلام) whatever He revealed. The (Prophet’s) heart lied not in what
he (Muhammad صلى الله
عليه وسلم) saw. What a great difference there is between
the two. |

Musa
عليه السلام was sent to the Children of Israel (to
his own people) Surah Ta-Ha 47 فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولَا إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْ قَدْ جِئْنَاكَ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَى "So go you both to him, and say: ‘Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance! Surah Al-Israa 2 وَآتَيْنَا
مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ
وَجَعَلْنَاهُ
هُدًى لِبَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
أَلَّا تَتَّخِذُوا
مِنْ دُونِي وَكِيلًا
And We gave Műsâ the
Scripture and made it a guidance for the Children of Israel (saying):
"Take none other than Me as (your) Wakîl (Protector,
Lord or Disposer of your affairs). → |
But
the Trustworthy One was sent to all of mankind, as a mercy to the worlds: Surah Saba 28 وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ
And We have not sent you (O
Muhammad
عليه وسلم) except as a
giver of glad tidings and a warner to all mankind, but most of men know
not. (88) "It (this Qur’ân) is
only a Reminder for all the ‘Âlamîn (mankind and
jinn). "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a
while". Surah Al-Anbiyaa 107 وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ
And We have sent you (O
Muhammad
not but as a mercy for the ‘Âlamîn (mankind, jinn and
all that exists). Surah Al-A'raf 158 قُلْ يَا
Say (O Muhammad
"O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allâh… What a great difference there is between
the two. |
I
like to point out that the above few Ayaat آيات from the Glorious Qur’aan are just the tip
of the iceberg, there are many more proofs in the Glorious Qur’aan citing the greatness
of Prophet of Islaam Muhammad صلی الله
