Thanks to be Allaah,
Sustainer of the Universe, and blessing and salutation to be the most
distinguish of the Messengers and foremost among the Prophets, our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of
Allaah be on him and on his wives, children and Companions.
Some anti-Islaam elements having no other way like to attack Islaam and/or Muslims for pagan worship, such as facing Ka’bah كعبه during daily Salaat (prayers) and/or touching and kissing the black stone حجر اسود. Usually these unintelligent attacks come from Christian missionaries. In this treatise I will inSha Allaah refute these absurd attacks, having said that let us explore that why Muslims’ face Ka’bah كعبه during the daily prayers (Salaat).
Since ages it has been a custom
among people to stand before the King/Queen and/or Ruler, when they eulogize
him or her praising him/her and/or glorifying him/her. The spirit of worship is
humility and concentration, therefore, it cannot be achieved without peace and
shunning other thoughts. Beside that unless a worshipper pays attention to a
specified aim he/she cannot get peace. That is why specific direction is
faced in the Muslim prayers (Salaat) toward Ka’bah كعبه. The apparent and
the visible sides have a relation with the hidden and the unseen. It is like adopting single mindedness
in one’s open life, his/her inner self is also on a single path. That is why it
is necessary to face the Qiblah قبله.
It is also equally necessary that
there should be a single direction, Qiblah قبله, for everyone so that
they are all visibly on unanimity. Then, when Muslims are united and/or
receiving the invisible blessing of worship, resulting in tremendous glow that
grow in Muslims’ hearts. It is very obvious and/or clear to an intelligent
individual that of the several modes of worship in vogue in the world, Muslims
methods of worship have brought them all to one direction toward which Muslims
turn to worship. It is obvious that anyone who
goes to a place, he/she has the occupier in mind. Whatever etiquettes he/she
follows, they are for the Owner of the place. It
is like anyone bowing down before a throne; thus, the throne is not the object
of respect, but the King and/or Queen. Thus, by facing the Ka’bah كعبه, the
House of Allaah بيت الله, the house is not the aim of worship, but the Owner of
that house i.e. Allaah.
The
ignorant people say that Muslims worship the black stone and/or stone, and let
the Aryans and Christians define worship. The absolute and necessary
part of worship is praising Allaah, supplication to Him with deep attention.
Let those who have raised the objection answer to us that when we Muslims
supplicate the stone حجر اسود, when and how we pay attention to the
stone حجر اسود and we praise it? In no form of Islaamic worship the
black stone is mentioned, therefore, what is a stone حجر اسود? If to touch
the black stone حجر اسود (during Hajj حج) {and not in the prayers
[Salaat]} and/or to kiss it, means that Muslims worship the black
stone than every human being on the face of earth worships all those objects
and humans he/she touches and/or kisses, like one’s children, wives, to name
couple.
The Black Stone حجر اسود is symbolic of Illustrative Language!
Illustrative language has been
used in the world for ages in all religions, since the illustrative language is
always considered more effective. Therefore, we will not turn to the
Judeo-Christian scripture to prove our claims and expose the absurdity of
Christian missionaries’ unintelligent assertions. As we read that the Bible
itself contain the prophecy about Ka’abah and its
superiority was foretold in the Bible! The Jews and Christians have called
their distinguished people and/or other people “stones”, example they
called Patras (Peter) a stone because he became the foundation stone for the
Church, thus, using their own logic and harmonizing it with their belief,
Christians’ worshippers of
“Peter.” We find yet another proof from the
Bible itself supporting and proving Muslims’ position, for further readings

“The house
of my glory” referred to in Isaiah 60 is
the Kaba’h in
Makkah not the so-called “Church of Jesus Christ.” The flocks of Kedar as
mentioned in verse 7, have never come to any Church of Jesus Christ; and it is
in fact that the village of Kedar and their inhabitants are the only people in
the whole world who have remained impenetrable to any influence of the
Christianity. Again, the mention of 10, 000 saints is Deuteronomy 33:3 is very significant. God shined forth from
Paran, and he came with 10, 000 saints. One can read the whole history of the
wilderness of Paran without finding any other event but the conquest of Makkah
by the Prophet Muhammad صلی الله عليه وسلم with his 10, 000 followers (referred as saints in the prophecy) and reentered “the house of my glory.” He gave the fiery
law to the world that
reduced to ashes all other laws. The Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, spoken by
the Jesus was no other than Muhammad صلی الله عليه وسلم himself. It cannot be taken as the Holy
Ghost, as the Christians attempt to claim. In fact Jesus described him as a
human being not a ghost. “He shall not speak of himself, but whosoever he
shall hear that shall he speak.” Jesus called him the Spirit of Truth,
and so the Glorious Qur’aan speaks of Prophet Muhammad صلی الله عليه وسلم in
following manner,

Nay! he (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) has come with the truth (i.e. Allāh’s religion -
Islāmic Monotheism and this Qur’ān) and he confirms the Messengers (before him
who brought Allāh’s religion - Islāmic Monotheism).
In Joshua chapter 4 we read the
mention of twelve (12) stones, which Christians’ claims that it is about the
twelve disciples of Jesus. But the most damaging evidence comes from the New
Testament {e.g. Luke 20:17-18; Mark 12:10 and
Matthew 21:42}

What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the
same is become the head of the corner?
18Whosoever shall fall upon that
stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to
powder.

10And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

42Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
These are the absolute prophecies
about the truthfulness of Islaam, Glorious Qur’aan
and Ka’bah كعبه, and Muhammad صلی الله عليه وسلم,
which have come to pass. Thus, the Bible itself offers a reality and confirmation in
the GREATEST and the ONLY place of worship at Makkah مكّه as an illustrative
language in the body of the Black Stone حجر اسود at its corner.
The stone lay in that corner centuries before Prophet Muhammad صلی الله عليه وسلم from the times of Prophet Ibraheem عليه السلام to be exact. The
Arabs kissed it and lay their hands on it, it other words it was from ancient
times that we learn through the illustrative language (of Bible) that the stone
would lie in the corner of the most sacred Masjid i.e. Ka’bah كعبه at Makkah مكّه.
In conclusion, Jews and Christians may utter absurd claims and/or attempt to distort the truth, but the fact remains that their own Bible vouch for Islaam, Muslims, Qur’aan, Ka’bah كعبه and Prophet Muhammad صلی الله عليه وسلم.
