بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الحمدلله رب العالمين والصلوة والسلام على اشرف الانبياء وسيدالمرسلين نبينا محمد صل ا لله عليه وعلى آله واصحابه وازواجه اجمعين - امابعد

All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Sustainer of the Universe, and blessing and salutation to be the most distinguish of the Messengers and foremost among the Prophets, our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be on him and on his wives, children and Companions.

First and foremost, Eid-ul-Adha ‘Mubarak’ عيد الاضحى مبارك to all Muslims worldwide.

Having said that, we will discuss in this treatise that who was scarified? Was it {Ishmael) Ismaeel عليه اسلام or was it {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام? Jews and Christians falsely claim that it was {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام, using their redacted Bible, which even does not prove and/or supports their claim. Let us see what the Bible’s {Old Testament} book of Genesis say and if it support Judeo-Christian absurd claim.

{Ishmael) Ismaeel عليه اسلام was blessed by the God before his birth as we are told in the Bible, even his name was given by the God {Yahweh} too >>> see ***Genesis: 10-1 {"10} And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude, (11) And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael, because the LORD hath heard thy affliction." <<<

Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} was eighty-six years old when Hagar {حاجره} bore {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام, see Genesis 16:16, and Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} was a hundred years old when {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام was born, see ***Genesis 21:5. However, in the Bible ***Genesis 21:8-10 is then in contradiction with ***Genesis 21:14-21 where {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام is portrayed as a baby put on the shoulder of his mother Hagar {May Allaah be always pleased with her حاجره} and is called lad and child. When both [{Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام & Hagar {May Allaah be always pleased with her حاجره}] left {Sarah} ساره [May Allaah be always pleased with her]}: >>>"And Abraham rose early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child.... Arise, left up the lad, and hold him in thine hand...."<<< . Readers must notice that this is a profile of a baby and not of a teenager. Nevertheless, {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام and his mother Hagar {May Allaah be always pleased with her حاجره} left {Sarah} ساره [May Allaah be always pleased with her]} long before {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام was born. The question that begs for answer is that why contradiction and why this redaction, if the Bible is the true word of God?

According to the Islamic version, Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} took {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام and his mother Hagar {May Allaah be always pleased with her حاجره} and made a new settlement in Mecca, called Paran in the Bible {see} Genesis 21:21. This action was because of a divine instruction given to Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} as a part of Allaah’s master plan.

So the covenant according to the Islamic version was made and sealed between Allaah, Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} and his >>>only son >>> {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام that when {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام was supposed to be scarified, and on the same day were Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} and his >>>only son <<< {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام and all the men of the household were circumcised while {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام {was not even born yet}. See ***Genesis 17:14-17. A year later Isaac was born and circumcised when he was eight days old ***Genesis 21:4-5. Needless to point out that we have this overwhelming evidence from the Bible itself, which Jews and Christians cannot refute.

Mind you that when the covenant was made and sealed (circumcision and sacrifice) Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} was ninety-nine and {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام was thirteen years old, whereas {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام was born a year later when Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} was hundred years old.  The descendants of {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام [all Muslims] since then remained faithful until today to this covenant of circumcision.

In ***Genesis 22 it is mentioned that {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام was to be sacrificed, it is mentioned there " thine only son Isaac” rather "thine only son Ishmael", because when {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام was thirteen years old and {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام was not born yet. After the birth of {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام, Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} had two sons. This redaction and name change [in the book of Genesis, chapter 22] from {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام to {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام was/is because of deep seated hate and/or chauvinism of Jews against {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام. But Allaah had preserved the word only to show us what it should have been and/or what in fact there was in the Bible’s book of Genesis.

Glorious Qur’aan proves it as well without a shadow of doubt that the Sacrificed One [ذبيح اللّه] was/is {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام and thereafter Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام} received the glad tiding about the birth of {Isaac} Ishâque عليه اسلام.

Surah As-Saffat 100-112

"My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous."(100)

So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy.(101)

And, when he (his son {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام) was old enough to walk with him, he [Abraham {Ibraheem ابرهيم عليه اسلام}] said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offering you in sacrifice to Allâh). So look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Inshâ’ Allâh (if Allâh wills), you shall find me of As-Sâbirûn (the patient)."(102)

Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allâh), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering);(103)

We called out to him: "O Ibrâhîm! (104)

You have fulfilled the dream!" Verily thus do We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers - See 2:112). (105)

Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial. (106)

And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. كبش - a ram);(107)

And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations. (108)

" Salâm (peace) be upon Ibrâhîm!"(109)

Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers - See V.2: 112). (110)

Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. (111)

And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishâq - a Prophet from the righteous. (112)

We now know for fact that “the sacrificed one” (ذبيح اللّه) is no other than {Ishmael} Ismaeel عليه اسلام according to the Bible itself, which is again echoed in the Glorious Qur’aan (37:100-112) cited above. I challenge any Jew and/or Christian in this world and/or any Rabbi and/or Pastor, Priest or Bishop to prove this fact to be wrong.
